What a wonderful book for girls, boys, men, and women! I met the author at a book festival and love what he's trying to do. It's sad that it needs to be said that girls can do what boys can, but there's many layers in the book, like how women don't owe men anything. I just love it!!

A book for girls! This straightforward read inspires and empowers them to embrace who they are and encourages saying no when necessary. The illustrations are diverse and engaging, adding to the overall enjoyment.

This book is not only beautifully written, but it's also an empowering read for girls. Boys could learn from it, too! This book made me cry happy tears and I wish I had it to read when I was younger.
